So, you want to know whether you should get the aPad or Apple's iPad. When it comes to features and functions, the aPad and the iPad are essentially the same. The iPad is a well-loved product with a lot of hype surrounding it. The only drawback is its hefty price range, which might be out of many people's budgets. Meanwhile, cheap Android tablets are flooding the market and many people are choosing them instead of the iPad. And why not, especial when both have so many similar features and apps?
Let's look at some of the ways in which the aPad and iPad are similar and some of the ways in which they differ. The iPad uses the Mac OS while Android tablets use the Android OS. When it comes to web browsing, iPad uses Apple's very own Safari web browser. The aPad uses the Google Chrome which is built into the operating system. If you are downloading content from the web, then you might be at a disadvantage using iPad because its built-in memory is not expandable. However with the aPads, you can insert new MicroSD cards to expand the memory. Both devices allow you to watch videos on the web using the YouTube app.
The iPad boasts of many games with high graphical details, but you have to pay to download apps for iPad. On the aPad, games are just as good as those on the iPad, and more importantly, you can download games for free from the Android Marketplace. The Android tablets offer open source software download, so you can get all your apps for free. You can check emails on both the iPad and the aPad. Since most people prefer to use Gmail, they will be happy to know that both the iPad and the aPad offer access to your Gmail account. Typing an email with the aPad in landscape mode is smooth and easy.
APad has many of the same features as the Apple iPad. Apart from a slightly smaller screen size (7 inch while iPad's screen is 9.7 inch), there is very little difference between the two devices. The iPad is now available on the market for $500, but why go for a product in such high price range when you can get the same features from the cheap Android tablets for less than $200? If you have the money and want to go for the big brand name, you should buy the iPad. However, if you want great apps and easy usage at low prices, an Android tablet PC is your best choice.
