Vodafone will soon be offering Apple's iPad 2 with Wi-Fi and 3G in the next few weeks.
The iPad 2 will work with Vodafone's new 850MHz network that is being rolled out across the country, as well as its existing 3G network. It is investing $1 billion to provide consumers with better indoor coverage, faster download and a stronger signal. According to Vodafone Australia head of devices, Ross Parker, it will provide 3G data plans to suit all needs and budgets regardless of whether customers go online a little or a lot.
"We know our customers will enjoy the added freedom and convenience to seamlessly access the internet in more places, with the choice of staying connected via Vodafone 3G broadband Internet or Wi-Fi," Parker said.
The exact pricing details are yet to be confirmed but the company has said that it will be available with a range of dedicated data plan payment options including upfront or over 12 or 24 months.
